STANDARDS OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE

1 Students are expected to maintain strict discipline within and outside the classroom, workshop , laboratories and library and to observe the rules prescribed from time to time. They are also expected to show politeness and courtesy of speech as well as observe cleanliness.
 2 Spitting on walls, road etc. Is strictly prohibited.
3 Students should carry ID CARD inside the campus
4 Bicycle and other two wheelers should strictly be parked at the allotted parking lot.
5 Students are strictly forbidden from smoking anywhere in the campus.
6 Students may use two-wheelers, but should have valid driving licence & wear safety helmets.
7  Students should handle college property carefully without causing any damage.
8 Girls and Boys shall not unnecessarily stand in groups in the institutional premises except other than holding academic discussions.
9 No single boy and girl are allowed to sit at isolated places and vacant rooms during or after working hours.
10 Students must leave the campus immediately after classes are over.
11 Ragging is strictly prohibited. If found guilty, student is liable for disciplinary action as per Government laws.

 

ATTENDANCE

  • Faculty members shall take attendance at the beginning of each period
  • A student who is not in the class room when the attendance is taken shall be  marked absent.
  • Student attendance will be computed at the end of every month and indicated in the progress report and also put up on the notice board.

A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear for the semester end examinations. Students who do not have the minimum attendance will not be allowed to appear for the semester end examinations.

Attendance for the mid semester examinations and weekly tests is compulsory. Absence from the tests will affect the sessional marks awarded as internal assessment by the staff members concerned.

 

HOLIDAYS
All Sundays and holidays notified by the college.
